Bob Young is a success master. He began his career graduating last in his high school class of over 600 and then rose to head a high tech organization of more than 20,000 people at The Lockheed Corporation. He became CEO of a shrinking $30 Million company and grew it to over $300 Million with no changes in the management team or workforce that were in place during its six year decline. He led the win of a national quality and productivity award and the unprecedented win of the $15 Billion NASA Space Shuttle Processing Contract. Bob is an author, a speaker and a consultant.
Bob has been active as a leader in technical associations, as a chamber of commerce board member, as chairman of a hospital board of trustees, as chairman of a university development and advisory council, as regional chairman of the annual US Savings Bond drive in Houston, as a contributor to youth programs and in many other roles.
Bobs many awards include recognition by two former United States Presidents, several National Management Association awards, an American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics award, an alumnus of the year award, the NASA Public Service Award and numerous other awards.
Bob has given hundreds of talks and led dozens of seminars for community organizations, professional associations, government organizations, many companies and numerous universities.
