For centuries the change rate has been slow enough that we could adapt to our circumstances and successfully compete to get what we want. Now the change rate is so fast that adapting can't keep up. By the time we adapt to what's changed, things have changed again. The high change rate is overwhelming our ability to successfully predict what to do next. Worst of all, sticking with the way we have been taught to think and act, despite the increasing change rate we face, is causing most of us to lose control of our future.
Our choices influence our thinking and actions everyday. Success masters at some level inherently know the keys to succeding whether they can clearly describe them or not. They make choices and adopt new ideas that enable creating the future they want and discard traditional ways of thinking and acting that hold them back. Non-traditional ways of thinking and acting are commonplace for success masters but are too often dismissed as unimportant by others who see themselves as victims or beneficiaries of their circumstances. The difference between success masters who make success mastery look easy and everybody else is that their thoughts and actions express their vision and are not determined by their circumstances.
Learning to be a success master who makes success mastery look easy is not difficult but it is such an unfamiliar way of being for most people that it is easy to reject as unrealistic or out of touch with reality. Success masters consistently create visions that move them to action, launch initiatives that get them what they want and are resilient in the face of inevitable problems. Few of us learned any of the three at home, in school or anywhere else.
